Been busy posting a lot of pictures from the recent trips to a new café slash comedy club in Antwerp. Some people Franky and I met via Flickr opened it up and they know a lot of the good stand up comedians in Belgium. So we can get in and start clicking away for some action shots of while laughing our ass off with the jokes these guys tell. Usually they're trying out new material so it's worth a trip.

As some of you might remember a few weeks ago I modelled for buddy Manuel in some weird idea dreamed up by the people from drieduizend : organise modelshoots with our own photographers as models. It was time to return the favour and Manuel posed for some shots. They'll be on Flickr here.

This sucks. When I got home from the magnificent Keith Caputo concert (more about that later) I noticed someone had ripped my Kinky De Beer button of my backpack. Dammit, if you like it, just ask ... I can get you one. Now I have to repair the tear in my backpack. At least it's just a small one. Stupid a-hole ...

Flickr just changed from beta to gamma. I was browsing the photos of my contacts and checking my own online sets and when I came back to my own personalised startpage I suddenly saw a whole new layout, more pictures on the startpage and a new menu. As fresh as it was sudden and a shock. Now, 10 minutes later, I'm thinking I'm gonna like it. Less clutter on each page.

New gigs from Het Depot are processed and online now. There was a lot of red and yellow light all night long, so I had to work harder than usual in the raw-importer to get some decently looking pictures without to much washed out red hues all over the place. The night began with Hulk who played some mean and loud rock and roll. Not really my cup of tea due to much attitude and testosteron. But good for their style of music I think. Click the link (or the image below) for the pictures.

Main act Brant Bjork now has his own band in which he sings and plays guitar. He used to be the drummer of stoner legends Kyuss which he founded. Afterwards he helped guitarist Josh Homme set up Queens Of The Stone Age. And yes, you'll find the pictures here.

Eighties wave-metal pioneers Killing Joke were in town a few days ago. Support act Confuse The Cat played something that sounded like old skool U2. Had a short talk afterwards with guitarist Christophe. Click here (or the image below) for the pictures.

Main act Killing Joke played loud as fuck. I'm sorry but there's no other way to describe it. The music just punched me in the face. Left me almost deaf the next day. Never ever going that close up front again when a band is playing like that. Madness. Guess those old geezers need the volume to hear something. As usual ... here are the pictures.
