And now ... the end is near ... been playing good old Frank a bit this week. Always good
for that end-of-year feeling of sweet relaxation. Frank, Dean and Sammy ...

Halfway through the big end-of-year vacation I traditionally take. As could be expected
I have done a bit of the big chores-list and forgot to do a lot more. Hey, it's my holiday and I'll spend it
the way I want to spend it.
Song of the week : -----
Oldie of the week : -----
Last seen movie : "Identity" : comments are being written.
"The Ladykillers" : comments are being written.
Doing this week : More gaming. More cleaning up my clutter.

Rejoice people ! The holiday is begun. And Halo 2 is finished. Only took Ben and me an
extra 50 minutes to wade through the rest of the Grunts and Brutes scum and make the jump into the aline vessle.
Which makes the total gametime a little under eleven hours. I don't know if that's quick or not and I really
don't care all that much. Don't feel obliged to mail me about it.

Oldie of the week : -----
Last seen movie : "Blood Surf" : comments are being written.
Doing this week : I have a big list of chores that should be done in the coming two weeks. Not forgetting
the amount of family-dinners due to christmas and new year. Which reminds me : I need a few more presents.

Having seen and absolutely loved the Beastie Boys concert last weekend, I'm now counting down the last days of hard work this year.
Glad to be out of it for a while. Even if it's only two weeks. Describing those two weeks as "the rest of the year"
obviously sounds better.
Song of the week : "1985" Bowling For Soup
Oldie of the week : "Gratitude" Beastie Boys
Last seen movie : "Squirm" : Sometimes people with bad ideas shouldn't be allowed near studio-execs with
money and no brains. That would eliminate the making of films you get to watch on national tv on saturday-evening,
otherwise it would also eliminate pure "garbage which becoms fun" like this. Imagine a worm-colony (yup, those
little, brown-reddish, slightly slimy ground-dwellers) going berserk because there's leaking electricity in the
ground. They attack anything that moves, covering it with their millions of tiny little bodies ... never really
gross, always stupid and acted like everyone has a giant wooden stick up their butt ... Couldn't stop snickering.
Doing this week : Remember what I said about that pile of work ? It got worse as everything in the system
refuses to work as it should. When I enter a path to a file, it keeps showing the old version. Great system we
sometimes have with all them fucking cache- and proxyservers. If only the tech-team had the time to sort that
crap out and fix things. I guess I have more chance of winning the lottery without playing.

As I'm approaching my last two weeks of work for this year (holiday !), I see a pile
of stuff that really needs to get done before then. So things'll be busy : two new websites (small ones, but
still), banners, bugfixing, adding functionality, daily maintenance ... getting tired just thinking about it.
Song of the week : "An Open Letter To NY" Beastie Boys
Oldie of the week : "Hey Ladies" Beastie Boys
Last seen movie : A few actually because I went to the finals of "Leuven Kort" : a filmfestival with
short movies. I saw like 10 (?) of them, ranging from a musicvideo to 25 minutes long. Some titles I remember
are "Cologne" and "My Bonnie". There were others including one hilarious film about football and a hold-up in
the local accent of Limburg (Belgium). Loved it.
Doing this week : Getting ready for the big Beastie Boys concert next saturday. That'll be a huge fucking
blast from the past. Old school material with three MC's and one DJ !
